EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a well-established, research-backed therapy that helps the brain heal by processing and integrating traumatic or distressing experiences. Through gentle eye movements and other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR reduces the emotional intensity of painful memories, lessens their hold, and supports the brain’s natural capacity for healing. By safely re-engaging with past experiences in a structured process, clients often find new balance, resilience, and confidence. For children, we often integrate EMDR with play, art, and sandtray therapy to create developmentally appropriate ways of working through trauma and stressors. Adults, too, may benefit from expressive approaches alongside EMDR, opening new pathways to insight and healing. Our trained clinicians attune EMDR to each client’s needs within a compassionate, client-centered approach—helping you reframe your story and reclaim your sense of wholeness.
